C.S.L. Pellets are products that are soluble in water. The method of dissolution in the water causes a violent reaction and the pellets almost burst after only 60 seconds in the water, giving the fish a signal that food is nearby through the particles. After dissolving the pellets, due to the ideal density balance of the particles themselves, the particles start to move up and down. About twenty percent of the particles remain at the bottom and ten percent float to the surface. The rest stays in the water and simply moves up and down. The composition of the pellets is reinforced with betaine.
